The Delivery and Support Unit has been set up in Wales to improve performance against SaFF targets. As a result of some challenges for the health community in meeting the orthopaedic waiting times
profile an intervention by the DSU was triggered.The intervention which took the form of a diagnostic review of orthopaedic services similar to the one used in England and supported by the BOA was felt to be a helpful way forward. |
