As part of our 2008-09 audit plan the Trust has agreed to participate in a new ward staffing benchmarking exercise that will update the Acute Hospital Portfolio reviews undertaken at the predecessor trusts in 2005. This work is intended to support the work that the Trust is undertaking around financial sustainability. Around 50 trusts in England and a number of other trusts in Wales are participating in this exercise and the work is being taken forward in partnership with the Audit Commission. |
