Feeling bombarded with requests for information?The Concordat Task & Finish Group for Information Sharing is seeking to streamline how information is requested from audited or inspected bodies. A Protocol for Making New Information Requests and an Impact Assessment Checklist is currently being piloted by review bodies that aims to ensure that review bodies follow a discipline in utilising and requesting new information. An on-line Directory of Health and Social Care nationally aggregated databases is also being developed that could be used by review bodies as the first port of call when seeking information to inform reviews. Concordat signatories would like to seek the help of health organisations to contribute to our understanding of issues. If you have examples of recent duplicative information requests or examples of requests for information that is already available elsewhere, then the Concordat team would like to hear from you.
