Useful ResourcesThis part of the site is dedicated to providing signatories with resources that will assist with implementation of the Concordat. PowerPoint A generic PowerPoint presentation on the implementation of the Wales Concordat can be accessed here and used for in-service training or to update stakeholders on Concordat delivery progress. The PowerPoint will be modified regularly to keep it up to date. Patient and Public Involvement Specialist Library The new Specialist Library for PPI aims to support the implementation of both collective and individual involvement in health care by providing access, in one location, to the best information which is available on the Web. National Occupational Standards (NOS) Workshop Report A summary report of the consultation workshop held on 28th November 2006 for the draft National Occupational Standards for the Inspection of Public Services can be found by selecting the above link. Also included are the workshop presentations made by Julie Benson (Skills for Justice) and Mandy Collins (Healthcare Inspectorate Wales). The NOS for the inspection of public services have now been finalised and approved for use and can be accessed from http://www.ukstandards.org.uk or http://www.skillsforjustice.com/inspectionnos. These NOS can be used for a variety of purposes including annual appraisal, job descriptions, staff training and workforce planning. They complement the existing NOS that are already in use in Wales for the Regulation of Care Services Award.
